Only practical work and experiences lead the young to maturity.
I came from Taiwan and graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts, with a BA degree in Dance. I obtained my credential in Early Childhood Development Education at City College of San Francisco.
I have taught Early Childhood Development Education in a vocational school in Taiwan for several years. I taught those students pursuing Early Childhood Education degree the needed dancing skills and trained them to choreograph for activities. Since I have more than 20 years of experience in teaching both children’s and adult’s dance and mastered in Chinese Folk Dance, Ballet, Modern Ballet, Aerobics, etc.
After immigrating to the United States, I have been teaching Chinese Folk Dance and Mandarin to young children for many years at East Bay Chinese School and Contra Costa Chinese School. I also have more than 5 years of experience in taking care infant and toddler. I really enjoy educating and taking care of children. Because, I can observe their learning, exploring, and growing. I believe, with the encouragement, loving, and guidance from the parents and the teachers, every child will reach the most fully development and become a unique talent in his/her future.
