With experience spanning 30 years, across 40 countries, on over 50 Brands, Alexei Orlov is a senior executive with extensive global and regional operational experience. He currently works as a Consultant specializing in Brand Strategy and Deployment and Facilitates and Coaches Leadership Teams as they work through their Brand, Operational and Communication challenges. In this capacity he works with a diverse set of clients from many industries and assists them and their design, advertising, communications and general service support partners to better work together in a spirit of co –responsibility.

Together with a proven and trusted group of practioners, Alexei has developed ‘Conversationing the Brand’ a dynamic and unique programme which continues to deliver phenomenal business success to client companies across the globe.

This pro –active, real time discipline enables senior executives and their teams to go beyond the obvious – to explore, co-create and deliver the hidden truths and capabilities of their brands and their businesses.

Formerly Alexei served for a brief time as President, DRAFTFCB, EMEA, one of the few fully integrated brand planning and communications agencies of its type in the world.

Prior to this Alexei served with Wunderman for eight years, the world’s largest Brand Direct specialist, as President Europe, then as COO Global and finally as Executive Vice-Chairman, Worldwide. During this time, he also served as the Global Strategic Lead for WPP plc for the $1.8 Billion Automotive Business, where he co- led Ogilvy&Mather, Wunderman, MindShare, Y&R and JWT on their collective work for Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mazda and Volvo.

Prior to Joining WPP / Wunderman, Alexei owned and ran ROCQM and MCW, specialists in Brand Strategy and Deployment. He later sold the business to WPP and it formed one of the key cornerstones to what subsequently became RMG Connect.

Prior to Running ROCQM / MCW, Alexei was Global Brand Communications Director for Volvo Cars and Marketing Director, Volvo, UK, then the 2nd largest national sales company for the corporation.

Before joining Volvo Cars, he was the Marketing Director, Avon Cosmetics Retail Europe. (In fact he was the youngest executive ever, to be appointed to a Director position at Avon.)

Alexei’s passion for brand stewardship and operational leadership powered by dynamic happy teams was visible at the very start of his professional life as a founding member of the highly successful Paperchase Retail Group, which was subsequently sold to WH Smith plc.
